Timber and composite decking
Decking is a great alternative to stone patios or turfed areas. Do you have old, rotting decking? We can remove this and construct a new one in it’s place. Or we can design and install a new decked area in the garden to revitalise your garden. A raised deck extending from the house, or functional place to eat at the bottom of the garden are two options. All of our decks are constructed out of either treated exterior grade wood, or composite planks.
Timber decks are more traditional, while composite decks are more durable and are mostly recycled materials. Unlike patios, the installation of decks can be very versatile. We have even installed a raised timber deck in the space between a garage and fence, around an old ash tree (Fraxinus excelsior)!
We also provide the option to fit a handrail or balustrade to your deck if:
- You have small children or elderly relatives and are concerned about falls
- Or your raised deck is higher than 0.6m, in which case it is a British Standards requirement.
